Playing games ( short story)
It was dark outside, almost twilight. It was the coldest day yet in the city, so cold that the rain turned into ice on the windows. So cold that the breath of everyone looked like smoke from a cigar. He was standing outside looking in through a window, all he could see was the candle that was burning inside. Thats all he needed to see...That candle represented what he wanted, what he loved, and what he most desired. Lets go back to the begining on this story. There once was a girl beautiful as anyone could be. She was more white than snow with hair so smooth it made velvet cringe and shy away. Her freckles perfectly placed upon her beautiful winter white skin. Her eyes as blue as ice, yet not with such cold emotion, the look of fire with the sight of a blue sky. She was so beautiful yet so sad, because no one understood her, noone cared enough to see the true beauty that lied within. All she wanted was love, all she wanted was for someone to care like she did, for someone to open his heart as she opened hers. She searched and searched till one day she gave up. She was tired of playing the game the game had done her wrong. So she lit a candle everynight no longer waiting no longer hoping. Little did she know her true love was out there, closer than she thaught. He loved her form the first day, he wanted her to open her heart as he did his. Though she never saw him no one did. He was no more than a peasant, a lower class he may see to others yet he was much more, you see he was a a true gentlemen. He was sentenced to this torture of living his life as a poor man till the day he found his true love, the one who didn't judge his status, and after that day he woud become the richest man in the world. He watched everynight as this beauty lit the candle time and time again his heart broke as he saw her close hers a little more. He wanted nothing but to fall in love and be happy with the one who loved him back. So he slowly watched from far away till one day he couldnt take it anymore, how could he just wait around and see his chances of being happy wither away? He decided to talk to her, and so he went about just that. He walked up to her and he told her how he felt, she knowing he was no rich man saw his true beauty as well as he say hers. They saw in eachother what no one else saw in them. Their hearts opened and let the other walk right in. The beauty of love made their love last for all of eternity. The candle never went out because lttle did she know that candle she lit was the symbol for their love.

The favorite :)
The Favorite
This is my favorite picture that i have taken so far. There are alot of aspects of this photo that I like but the story behind the photo is what makes it more special. It was taken spontaniously. I was at the park with my mother and i was lying on the grass and i took a picture of this father and daughter walking, it really captured the sweet moment. The rule of thirds was used here as well as a low horizen line, even some lighting. It is easily one of my favorites because it was one of the first photos I took without thinking about it and just getting lucky with it. There was room for some improvement and i want to use this photo as an example and learn to become a better photographer. I also did no retouching, it also captured the beauty of the sun and the nature around the simple place like the park that we all enjoy in out everday lives.
